Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using CanvasPDF ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

CanvasPDF converts Cursor Canvas .tsx export files into professional PDF documents. The Service includes file upload, parsing, rendering, and PDF generation capabilities accessible through our web application.

3. Account Registration

You must create an account (via Clerk) to use the conversion features. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Upload files containing malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
• Attempt to bypass security measures or access other users' data
• Use the Service for illegal purposes
• Abuse the API or automate uploads beyond reasonable personal use
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service infrastructure

5. Intellectual Property

You retain full ownership of any files you upload and PDFs you generate. CanvasPDF does not claim any intellectual property rights over your content. We only process your files for the purpose of generating the requested PDF output.

6. File Storage and Deletion

Uploaded files and generated PDFs are stored for up to 24 hours to allow re-downloading, after which they are permanently deleted. We do not create backups of user-uploaded content.

7. Service Availability

We strive to keep CanvasPDF available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or due to factors outside our control.

8. Advertisements

The Service displays advertisements through Google AdSense. By using the Service, you acknowledge that ads will be displayed alongside the content. Ad content is determined by Google and is not controlled by CanvasPDF.

9. Limitation of Liability

CanvasPDF is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from the use of the Service, including but not limited to data loss, rendering inaccuracies, or service interruptions. Our total liability shall not exceed $0 given the Service is provided free of charge.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.

11. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
