1. Information We Collect

Account Data

When you sign up via Clerk (our authentication provider), we receive your name, email address, and profile picture. We do not store passwords — Clerk handles authentication separately.

Uploaded Files

When you upload a .tsx canvas file, we process it on our servers to generate a PDF. The uploaded file and generated PDF are stored temporarily (up to 24 hours) in Supabase Storage, then permanently deleted.

Usage Data

We track basic conversion metadata (filename, file size, timestamps, conversion status) to display your history in the dashboard. We also use Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights to monitor site performance — these collect anonymized, non-personally-identifiable data.

Cookies & Advertising

We use Google AdSense to display advertisements. Google may use cookies and web beacons to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings or by visiting aboutads.info.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide the canvas-to-PDF conversion service
• To display your conversion history in the dashboard
• To authenticate your identity and manage your account
• To display relevant advertisements via Google AdSense
• To monitor and improve site performance
• To communicate important service updates

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only with the following service providers who help us operate CanvasPDF:

• Clerk — authentication and account management
• Supabase — database and file storage
• Vercel — hosting, analytics, and performance monitoring
• Google AdSense — advertising (subject to Google's privacy policy)

4. Data Retention

Uploaded canvas files and generated PDFs are deleted within 24 hours. Account data (email, name) is retained as long as your account exists. Conversion metadata is retained for your dashboard history. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us.

5. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and data
• Opt out of personalized advertising

6. Security

We use industry-standard measures including HTTPS encryption, isolated sandboxed file processing, Row Level Security on our database, and service-role-only access to stored files. Canvas files are parsed in a restricted sandbox environment with no network access.

7. Children's Privacy

CanvasPDF is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
